CBC Workers Begin On Broadcast

I seem to be very encouraged when someone turns things around 180-degrees and makes something new.

Here is a great example – "CBC Workers To Launch Own Network"!  While I am not a big union guy, I think in this case the union is become extremely entrepreneurial.  They could be bigger than the people who have locked them out.

The media world is definitely changing.  The dinosaurs don’t even know they are dead yet.

  1. Question re OPML – for me to see an active outline I have to run the OPML through something like the KB Cafe Surfer
    For example:
    http://www.kbcafe.com/rss/opmlsurfer.aspx?q=http%3A%2F%2Fgloucester.typepad.com%2Fexample%2Fcontracts.opml
My impression is that I should be able to see an active outline in my browser and not have to run it through some other site. Am I wrong here?

  3. I don’t think most of the web browsers do any type of active outline rendering. I think that a plugin could be written to do this for .opml links but right now it isn’t transparent. – Steve
