John Robb’s Weblogexamines an idea he called Global RSS Subscription Repository (GRSR) for creating an RSS repository that Dave Winer has advocating [RSS subscription system & The Yahoo Problem]. He has some pretty good thoughts on the topic.
Another great blogger – Phil Windley has his opinions on Dave’s idea.
I also like Dave’s idea a lot.
I have been chatting via email with someone who wants to remain anonymous about their thoughts on this topic also. I may be able to share some more soon.
it sounds a lot like bloglines…have you checked it out?…I’m a bit addicted to it for keeping track of blogs. I don’t know if accomplishes everything you guys are talking about but it seems to be on the right path.
