How Many Podcast Directories Are Enough

It seems semi-hypocritical of me to be complaining after being the primary suggester of the techpodcasts.org site idea, but how many "generic" podcast directories do we need? 

As a podcaster who wants to make sure people can know about my podcast it is a major pain.

Here is a sample that I collected:

  1. I would pull audio.weblogs.com out of the list, since it’s a notification tool of new podcast blog entries rather than a directory.

    I agree with you. There should be one centralized location indexed by genre, location, name, keywords and the sort.
    A search directory of podcast at one location.
    Who can make this happen?
    As it stands right now I find podcast alley to be the most comprehensive site.
