It seems semi-hypocritical of me to be complaining after being the primary suggester of the techpodcasts.org site idea, but how many "generic" podcast directories do we need?
As a podcaster who wants to make sure people can know about my podcast it is a major pain.
Here is a sample that I collected:
- ipodder.org (accessible via OPML)
- audio.weblogs.com (need to ping for new podcasts)
- podcastingnews (PHP forms)
- podcastalley (allows for ranking)
- podcast.net
- penguinradio (form submission)
- podcastcentral
- podcastbunker
- podcasts724
- podfly
