Here is a highlight of technology solutions that I am using for work as my personal knowledge managment toolkit: Onfolio, X1, Groove, SnagIt, MindManager X5 (does MindMaps), TypePad (private & personal site), Newsgator, Planner 2.0, ClipMate (captures/collects/organizes cut-n-paste data), and PaperPort.

Hi Steve,
I noticed that one of these tools is a screen capturing utility. I don’t know if you discovered this, but Onfolio’s clipboard support allows you to paste screen captures directly into your Onfolio collections. I find that this is a really quick and easy way to save screenshots associated with my research. When I want to edit my screenshots before putting them into Onfolio, I often paste them into MS Paint, I then select the part of the screen capture that I want to save, and then I copy it from MS Paint and paste it directly into my Onfolio collections.
Anyhow, I just thought I’d pass on an Onfolio tip! 🙂LikeLike

Hey Steve – Interesting combination of tools. You can check out mine on my blog if you’d like. One minor correction to your list if I may. The mind mapping tool is MindManager, not MindMapper. It’s my tool of choice for brainstorming and lightweight project management too.
