Amber and Leo hit a virtual home run with Inside the Net 20: ReGenesis TV podcast.

This is a very powerful podcast that outlines what the TV show ReGenesis is doing to merge TV and the Internet into a single, seamless but still integrated marketing and promotional message.  Plus it adds signficant value to the viewer/participant.  Kudos!

Just to keep everyone in the loop, I am having some web-hosting issues with TypePad and with the MP3 server at Geekon.com.  I am trying to resolve them as quickly as possible.

UPDATE (Thursday, 5/4/06): Geekon.com is back up thanks to Harold Reed at DarnPC Podcast.  TypePad was down because of DDoS, and then I moved some files to Libsyn and then they went down.  Isn’t technology fun!

  • Need Better Attention Alerting Software

Made it to Washington DC via Chicago from San Diego.  Weather was "bad" in Chicago so we ended up about 2 hours late in DC, but still managed to make it to Georgetown for dinner at Nathan’s.

I caught up on a lot of blog post reading while on the airplane … bad news is that I missed that Doc Searls was in town last week in San Diego.  I would have loved to have interviewed him for TechNewsRadio.com.

That is one area all the "Attention" economy should be focused on by integrating in the software agent technologies of the early-mid 1990s (remember Dr. Pattie Maes?!?) to alert me when someone who I "know" via blogging comes into my geographic region.

Another Washington DC trip for work starts tomorrow – Monday (5/1/06)- and goes through Friday (5/5/06).  I have to fly through Chicago on the way there, and then Dallas on the way back.  Ugh … I wish there were more non-stop options.

Today we are posting (Jersey Boys Podcast #17 for Friday, April 28, 2006) the second of our in-person interviews that my wife Christy and I recently recorded during our fabulous trip New York City in early April 2006. But before we get to the interview we play our personal "review" of Jersey Boys Broadway, and then the interview with J. Robert Spencer who plays Nick Massi in the Broadway production of Jersey Boys (he also played the same role in the La Jolla Playhouse production).

Make sure you listen all the way through and learn about our upcoming fan give-a-way contest that will end on May 5, 2006. Key clue: Get on the Jersey Boys Podcast Frappr Map!

Questions asked to J. Robert Spencer: What is your favorite thing about Jersey Boys?  What is the difference between playing La Jolla vice New York City?  How is New York City treating you? This is your second Broadway show, what was your first? What is it like to play Nick Massi? Do you have a "extreme" fan story?
