I noticed in an ad that Timex E-Instruments ETide & Temp can provide tidal trends and air/water temperature. This would seem to be ideal for surfers and salt-water shore fishmen.

The details on how this information is kept accurate based on your geographic location isn’t specifically called out on the Timex site, and a quick search on Google didn’t turn up much information either.

Anyone have any information or clues?

BTW, Amazon has a version of the watch for $95.

Jersey Boys Tour Cast Announced

The cast for the Jersey Boys Tour has been announced: BroadwayWorld, PlayBill, and San Jose Mercury News.

Current dates and locations:
- San Francisco – Curran Theatre: Previews begin December 1, 2006; Opening night is December
  10; and the production runs through February 11, 2007.
- Los Angeles – Center Theatre Group’s Ahmanson Theatre: Previews begin May 25, 2007; Open night is June 3, 2007; and production runs through August 5, 2007.
- Chicago – LaSalle Bank Theatre: Dates currently are referenced as October 2007.

JERSEY BOYS Fundraiser

John Lloyd Young’s website has a new announcement that he is trying to raise funds for "Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative, which benefits women battling breast cancer."

Last year, JERSEY BOYS raised $110,000 and of that $12,000 came from JLY website. He’d like to raise $25,000 this time around. Please visit this link to learn more.
