The 31st Jersey Boys Podcast has been posted. Merry Christmas!

Today’s podcast has two main parts. First, Christy and I give you our first hand review of the Jersey Boys Tour currently playing in San Francisco (Curran Theatre). And second, we share with you an impromptu interview with Frankie Valli (picture) that was recorded in person on December 11, 2006.

Frankie discusses in this podcast’s short interview segment his thoughts and roles in the Broadway and Tour productions; reflections on his current touring; and highlights some upcoming projects that are in the works.

Stupid DRM Photos From JC Penny

I was shocked to learn that our 2006 family and kids Christmas pictures we took at JCPenny have digital rights management (DRM) features that makes it relatively impossible to scan into a visually usable graphics file using a recently purchased scanner.

When I scan them on my HP C3100 I end up with a grainy, very unattractive picture. I was getting all mad at the scanner for sucking until I read the back of the pictures with the following warning: "Kodak Professional Endura Paper – Professional Images Are Copyright Protected – Do Not Copy."

Darn right frustrating! 😦

If there is a DIY hack, please let me know. I’m off to investigate, and I’ll keep you posted.

This podcast is focused on Christy and Steve’s thoughts about seeing the Jersey Boys Tour’s last preview performance before opening night in San Francisco at the Curran Theatre on Saturday, December 9, 2006.

Jersey Boys Tour Tickets Extended For San Francisco

The Jersey Boys Tour has announced an extension already to the Jersey Boys run @ The Curran Theatre in San Francisco. Tickets are now available through March 25, 2007.

The next stop after San Francisco is Los Angeles with a scheduled run of May 25 – August 5, 2007.
