  • The Gideons still continue to distribute Bibles throughout the world. Their driving scripture verse is from 1 Kings 8:60 “That al people of the earth my know …”

One of the things that seems to be a ‘back seat story’ currently happening in the world is the genocide and slavery currently happening in Sudan’s Darfur region (reportedly over 80,000 have been killed). You can learn more at iAbolish.com.

  • One of the big tech changes for me over the last month was a transition from a N620c laptop to a TC1100 TabletPC.

It is a lot of working moving from one computer to another especially when you aren’t sure you are going to stick with the transition after the evaluation.

So far I am sold on the TC1100 being a traditional laptop replacement for me but I am not sure yet if it is right for everyone. There are a lot of learning curves associated with the software (especially since I am beta testing XP SP2/new TabletOS/OneNote/etc) and hardware that would definitley cause my Help Desk team to have to respond to more items from mobile users currently using traditional laptops.

This definitely needs to be balanced against what I feel are the key benefits I am gaining from my TC1100: (1) better “computing experience” for high-end knowledge workers, (2) increased productivity, and (3) quicker ability to execute.

I will try to elaborate more on these three key benefit areas in the future.
