DShield is a great online resource for current Internet information assurance (IA) status reports. Key feature is that end-users can submit their own information and it goes into the master database for advanced correlation and analysis.

I agree with the rating of 91/100 for Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout beer reviews @ BeerAdvocate.com but I sometimes wonder if this beer is really a “stout” or more of a “porter?”

After doing some research, I personally find detailed reports on what Ms. Teresa Heinz (wife of Sen. John Kerry) has used her large fortune to fund to be problematic for me as a possible First Lady. I guess I am now Un-American. [Cracks in the Facade]

The family is up in the Sacramento area visiting my Mom and Sister’s family. It is pretty hot up here, but we have been lucky the neighbors have allowed us to use their pool! One of the best things about coming up here is that one of the greatest sandwich shops in the U.S.A is here: – Beachouse Deli.

I have been following Cliff Atkinson’s Beyond Bullets for about a month. I recently took his ideas of moving from ‘slide show’ to ‘presentation’ (aka almost a mini-movie) using PowerPoint, and combined them with David Allens’ key thoughts around “envisioning wild success.”
The output from this experiment was a short content-wise presentation (8 animated slides with lots of pictures vice what traditionally would have been 20+ slides with tens of bullets per side) that has since moved the decision making forward on what had been a very stuck information technology engineering effort.
