In my last podcast, there was a great deal of wireless coverage. One of the articles reviewed mentioned the Cisco Aironet 1200 series. I noticed during last night’s reading while my kids were taking a bath that CDW in an add in PC Magazine was offering a "Cisco Secure Wirless Bundle" (CDW#575980) for $1747. This includes the Aironet 1231, an additional wall mount antenna, and a PIX 506E. Seems like on paper this is a good getting started deal for a pilot project.

Today’s Tech Tidbits Daily item for Wednesday Feb 9th
2005 is from PC World published for Feb05. There is a new flash-based digital audio player out. No it is not the Apple Shuffle. It is the iAudio G3 that offers 50 hours of continuous playback on one AA battery (not tested), voice recording, sound effects, 4 line LCD, FM radio, and direct MP3 line-in recording. The 256-MB version lists for $149 with 512MB and 1GB versions also available. The only draw back we can see is that price of the units appear to be at least 33% overpriced when compared to other units. You can learn more via www.jetaudio.com. I was at Costco over the weekend and they were selling "Riding Giants – Documentary of Riding Big Waves" that Reel Reviews recently did a review of, so I picked it up.
Great movie. Michael @ MWGlog is right on in his review. It is an extremely enjoyable documentary.
Make sure you watch all the way through the credits though. There is some great stuff at the end.
I noticed via Amazon that there is a music CD also that I think I am going to have to pick up.

Because of some security rules at work I don’t always get to take electronic items with me to all my meetings. I have a "hyprid" 3×5 index card solution that is pretty close to the hipsterpda solution. I should post the Word doc that I typically print out once a week to track manual written lists of items.
