After munching on a handful of trail mix that there is still a swig of warm coffee in the thermos to wet the podcasting whistle.

Back on 11/04/2004, I wrote:
I am looking for a small LCD that was part of a customized workstation that had multiple monitors and a PCI card with four outputs for displaying customized web content (mini-portal) to help optimized situational awareness.
Some thing like this: 3-inch Mini Color LCD Monitor $58.90 213GL-30NP-N. But with RGB input. Does anyone know of one?
Update: Thanks to Eric Rice … I might have found a product line. Bigger than I was originally thinking but still doable. If you want to hook it into your vehicle you might want this.

I was on business travel last week, and with me I took two laptops. My work Toshiba Tecra M4 Tablet PC and my small Apple iBook G4 for podcasting & personal stuff.
Eric Mack noted on his blog that Michael Sampson recently took a trip with just his Tablet PC leaving his PowerBook at home.
I can understand that to some degree. The extra weight is problematic. But having my two distinct lives separated has been a joy, and I like being able to experience two great innovative interfaces. My biggest issue right now is "keyboard layout" for CTRL and ALT on Windows; and translating that to the iBook.
Since Audacity works on Mac/Windows/Linux it wasn’t a big deal really to switch over on the Podcast production side. Just some minor issues here and there, but all either fixable or with efficient work arounds.
The time to build a podcast in my scenario is now about 30 seconds faster on the iBook then on my PC, which isn’t significant, but before the iBook my podcast PC was a desktop unit making doing podcasts on the road a real challenge.
In related news, Todd @ GeekNewsCentral is thinking of switching back completely to a PC. He has some points, but I’m enjoying myself.

This was going to a be a good pointer to a Duran Duran interview by Sarah Wilson @ Interview Magazine in a supplement to Wired Oct05 called "Fashion Rocks" at www.fashionrocks2005.com.
But all I could find was a picture of Duran Duran via this link after going to the site.
Bummer …

I hate when this happens …
You see something that you might actually want to purchase and by the time you get to it, the offer has gone away.
www.thelogocompany.net was the recent winner of Wired’s Grading Logo Shops article published on page 044 of the 10/2005 edition. They got a a B+, with others getting B, B-, C+, C-, and D+.
The service was listed for $75, but now they are too busy with all their new business that they aren’t offering that service anymore. Only new services at $175 and $225.
I guess I’ll just stick with my borrowed Microsoft clip art logo for TechNewsRadio.com that was carefully and skillfully re-colorized by Dan Klass @ The Bitterest Pill podcast.
