ABOUT

I have a B.S. (1990) and a M.S. (1998) in Computer Science from San Diego State University (SDSU).

I am a Senior Systems Engineer for the U.S. Navy, and I work on state-of-the-art Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) solutions.

From 1985 until 1999, I was an Apple Macintosh user/developer/integrator. In 1999, I switched focus to Microsoft Windows (NT, Server, XP, Tablet PC, Vista, Windows 7-11, etc.) I am, however, not wholly Windows-centric, as I have several systems running Chrome OS, Ubuntu/Kali, Mac OS X, and a collection of Virtual Machines for security testing & research.

I also have a great deal of experience with mobile platforms like: Newton (I’m actually in the Newton Hall of Fame), Psion, Palm, Windows CE, Pocket PC, Windows Mobile, Android, and Apple iOS.

I have held technical positions as a: developer, database designer, systems analyst, systems integrator, systems engineer, systems architecture, and project manager.

I started podcasting in 2004 and created an audio production & consulting company called: AztecMedia.net in 2005. The following shows/website were produced by me: ChvrchesPodcast.com, ThePodcraft.com, TechNewsRadio.com, JerseyBoysPodcast.com, and VeteranStories.us, AviationObserver.com, and AirGappedNetworks.com.

On the personal side, I am married and have three kids. We currently live in San Diego County in Southern California and worship at Christ Lutheran Church La Mesa.
