Robert Moog, the father of the synthesizer, recently passed away.
My first keyboard (for a "high-school" new wave band I was in for a very short time in 1984-1985) was the Moog Rogue.
It was on "rent" for $75 for every three months. After three months, I had to give it back because the band decided* that since I had decided to go to college in August 1986 that I should be replaced with someone more stable and focused on the long term prospectives of being a successful 80’s new wave band.
It was a great three months thought. It made great sounds.
* I think this was the main reason. They had a list 😉 It is a little fuzzy now.
