There is a new "free" Desktop Search Tool available for download and evaluation.  I remember using this tool way back when, but I have no opinion on it now. 

I am still pretty happy with X1 on my primary system (HP TC1100 TabletPC)  … maybe I’ll try it on my new home PC.
