I know that Adam Curry is working on building a Radio/Frontier podcast production tool that you could use to help in the creation of a podcast.

I have been doing most of mine actually in FrontPage because it makes it easy to take the rendered HTML and post it in TypePad.

However, I tried on my last podcast to use MindManager Pro because all the data I wanted to use was in Outlook and there is a button that get’s inserted in Outlook after installing MindManager that lets you export Outlook selected items to MindManager. However, it only works apparently with Mail, Contacts, Calendar items, and Notes; but it doesn’t work with Posts which is what most of the RSS/blog items come in as via Newsgator.

So, after having great visions of a well formated MindMap for my production document, I had to end up redoing all the work because I said “export” and I saw a bunch of things happen in MindManager, so I just deleted all the items that I wanted to talk about fromOutlook. Then I found out that all the Posts didn’t make it, so they were in my 1600+ deleted items folder, and it took me a good 20 minutes to find them all again (I knew I should have made them all flagged a certain color before trying the export).

Oh the joys of trying to be bleeding edge ….
