Forbes.com (Aug 16, 2004) came in the mail yesterday. Some potential items of interest:

  • Paul Kliebnikov (1963-2004): Editor of Forbes Russia was murdered on July 9th leaving behind a wife and three young children. He had written extensively on “criminal capitalists and thier political allies.”
  • Rich Karlgaard has a one page article on joys of small airplane travel and future companies trying to improve the business jet (“air taxi”) environment.
  • Mart Tatge continues the “air taxi” commentary with an article on Robert Crandall and Donald Burr’s future Pogo air taxi service that is suppose to be using the new Adam Aircraft A700.
